Notes for Sunday 26 July

Hi friends.
Greetings from St Bees vicarage. I hope this email finds you safe and well.
We’re almost there! In just over three weeks the Priory will be open again for public worship and I look forward to seeing some of you then. The PCC have put together some guidance for those of you wishing to come back to church on the 16th August. A copy of this guidance booklet is attached.
In the meantime we will broadcast worship as usual this Sunday 26th  and an order of service is attached. Colouring sheets etc from Roots are attached or links are posted below. Hymns can be found as a separate video on the church website.
For the following two weeks there will be no live worship in the Priory whilst I’m on annual leave. Instead, we’ve made two Summer Service videos based on a liturgy of Spiritual Communion and Matthew’s Message of Hope, from the “Roots” material. These videos will be available on the church website from Monday 27th July. The liturgy and hymn lyrics for these services is attached.  The Bible notes for the next four weeks are all on one sheet: Matthew’s Messages of Hope (link below)
A while back we sent out a booklet of prayers for use during the Covid Crisis. Many of you said you found this useful so I’ve attached a link to the prayer booklet for you. This covers nineteen themes with nineteen prayers. You may wish to pray each one in the days leading up to the Priory re-opening.

With this email you will find links to;

Prayer for the week

We know you bring hope Lord, even in the most difficult times. We ask that you be with us as we come to terms with our new reality. Amen.
